Learning outcomes:
The qualification holder will be able to:
  • communicate orally and in writing,
  • think in a logical, abstract, analytical and synthetic way,
  • work as part of a team, collect data and participate in lifelong learning,
  • express specialised knowledge in writing and orally,
  • demonstrate understanding of specialist and scholarly literature from various fields,
  • write longer texts in an orthographically correct manner,
  • create various forms of practical writing (application, letter, CV, minutes, report, etc.),
  • use electronic media and audio-visual aids, 
  • demonstrate intercultural communication skills in various language situations.

Assesment and completion:
Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress to the second year, students must have completed all course units prescribed by the curriculum and individual syllabuses for the first year, for a total of 30 credits (or a total of 60 credits together with the programme of the other discipline). In order to progress to the third year, students must have completed all course units prescribed by the curriculum and individual syllabuses for the second year, for a total of 30 credits, in other words a total of 60 credits for the first and second years (or 60 and 120 credits respectively together with the programme of the other discipline).

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme and the syllabuses of individual subjects, for a total of 90 credits. The overall programme is only completed when students have completed all course units in both chosen disciplines, as laid down by the study programmes and syllabuses of individual subjects, for a total of 180 credits.
