The qualification holder will be able to:

  • manage people and all other resources, and in so doing take account of the economic capacities of healthcare and social institutes,
  • understand the impact of environmental factors on the health of people and employees and the impact of other factors on the system of health and social care,
  • plan and organise the operation of healthcare and social institutes on the basis of recognising epidemiological states,
  • take account of the ethical aspects of leadership and management and in the organisation of work in healthcare and social institutes,
  • assess, ensure and improve quality in healthcare and social institutes and be familiar with European and national orientations for the development of quality,
  • understand the legal system as the basis for the organising and functioning of healthcare and social institutes.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

 

Progress:

Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
