Learning outcomes:
Qualification holders are qualified to:
  • identify, analyse and solve problems in the area of research, development and operational work in large, medium and small companies,
  • manage independent entrepreneurial plans and programmes in large, medium and small companies,
  • responsibly seek and evaluate the strategic development possibilities of business systems,
  • develop, generate, construct and manage modern managerial research methods in studying basic, support and administrative processes from the IT and administrative aspect,
  • lead and manage projects to construct and develop business, organisational and complex work systems,
  • transfer theoretical knowledge into everyday practice and synthesise knowledge in the field of business and work systems, organisation, IT and human resources,
  • develop standards for high-quality and professional autonomous work,
  • successfully and effectively anticipate, plan, organise, supervise and manage the operation of a business system,
  • successfully use modern information technology in the process of management,
  • develop communication skills for successful work in business and work environments and analyse advanced understanding of relevant relationships in those environments,
  • understand the problems of systems and activities on the micro and macro levels and master response messages of complex systems.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

 

Progress:

In order to progress from the first to the second year, students must complete course units prescribed in the study programme amounting to 45 credits in the current year, where they must pass the examination in Scientific Study of Social Science Phenomena and the requirements of their individual research work. Students must complete requirements from the current year totalling 45 credits, along with all course units from the first year, to progress from the second year to the third year.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Students complete their studies when they have successfully met all prescribed requirements of a study programme, written and successfully defended their doctoral dissertation, and completed a total of at least 180 credits.
