Learning outcomes:
Qualification holders are qualified to:

- demonstrate diligence and preciseness in working with resources,
- perform advanced analysis and synthesis and envisage solutions and consequences,
- master research methods, procedures and processes, develop critical and self-critical assessment,
- undertake independent scientific work,
- develop communication skills, with an emphasis on an international legal environment,
- demonstrate a capacity for ethical reflection and a commitment to professional ethics,
- critically analyse social processes,
- integrate various professional disciplines with the aim of attaining law-related objectives,
- understand the importance of a national multicultural image in the world and in Europe and handle cultural differences and national legal dilemmas,

- demonstrate extensive familiarity with legal and other resources in the field of the dissertation,
- master special scientific and research methods and procedures in the field of administrative studies,
- apply research methods to solve specific administrative and/or legal problems;
- link knowledge from various areas of administration and law, and depending on the selected topic, also in an interdisciplinary way,
- enhance knowledge in a core administrative and legal field,
- place new information and interpretations in the context of development of the profession in the legal field,
- use information and communication technologies and systems,
- critically select principles for solving specific work problems within a legal environment.
Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Progress:
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
Conditions for obtaining a public document:
The conditions for completing studies are: successful completion of two seminars, published scientific article or active participation at a scientific conference, passing grade and successful defence for dissertation.
