  • A completed first-cycle study programme in management, economics and business or law; or
  • a completed undergraduate programme (programmes adopted before 11 June 2004) in management, economics and business or law; or
  • a completed study programme in another field (other social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, engineering); prior to enrolment candidates must complete a bridging programme consisting of 20 ECTS credits, as follows: Introduction to Economics, Introduction to Law, Introduction to Management.

The qualification holder will be able to:

  • make decisions when addressing complex legal management issues,
  • formulate high-quality legal relationships,
  • demonstrate mastery of and manage complex corporate law and public law matters in practice,
  • carry out high-quality practical analysis and synthesis of comparative law resources relating to corporate and public management,
  • work autonomously and creatively and demonstrate mastery of complex professional tasks,
  • carry out technical work and research in the field of corporate law and public law, demonstrating mastery of the appropriate research methods,
  • effectively deploy the skills of legal argumentation and synthesis,

(subject-specific competences)

  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the legal regulation of corporations and legal persons subject to public law,
  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of national and European commercial status law, commercial contract law, competition law and intellectual property law,
  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of national and European status law, the public sector, persons subject to public law, systems of government, law governing local communities and public enterprises, institutions, agencies and funds and budget users with other legal statuses,
  • demonstrate knowledge of national and European public procurement law and autonomously conduct public procurement procedures, concession relationships and public-private partnerships,
  • demonstrate knowledge of the specific characteristics of national and European labour law and apply this knowledge in management practice,
  • demonstrate knowledge of legal and managerial skills in social dialogue and the capacity to apply this knowledge in practice in collective bargaining,
  • demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the pay system in the private and public sectors and effectively deploy legal argumentation skills in the preparation of a classification of positions in corporations and in organisations subject to public law,
  • demonstrate thorough knowledge of the issues of questions of status and case law in the fields of corporate law and public status law.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Students may progress to the second year if they have completed 45 first-year ECTS credits.
