Learning outcomes:
The qualification holder will be able to:
  • integrate basic knowledge with practice,
  • demonstrate proficiency in basic and more complex skills, techniques, methods, procedures and processes of work,
  • demonstrate proficiency in the entire process of shaping a sculptural form, i.e. be able to formulate ideas, find the best technical solutions and formulate and realise them successfully,
  • think conceptually and undertake self-reflection and analysis,
  • perform critical and self-critical assessment and work in a group,
  • demonstrate understanding of the interdependence of modern technologies and traditional sculpture techniques,
  • analyse and independently study a problem,
  • demonstrate understanding of other fields of art and translate one artistic language to another,
  • experiment and improvise in the creation of a work of sculpture,
  • demonstrate ethical and professional responsibility towards own works of sculpture and their presentation in a public or urban environment,
  • demonstrate autonomy in the performance of theoretical and practical tasks,
  • create works of art autonomously,
  • communicate in the local and international environment.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress to the next year, students must obtain confirmation of enrolment and attendance for all subjects in the previous year and have completed all requirements and the following number of credits: for enrolment in the second year, at least 51 credits; for enrolment in the third year, 60 first-year credits and at least 54 second-year credits.
