Admission requirements Entry conditions:
  • A completed first-cycle study programme in relevant artistic or professional field of the humanities and social sciences (especially dramaturgy, scenic or performing arts, theatre studies, comparative literature, etc.); or
  • a completed first-cycle programme in another field, if prior to enrolment the candidate has completed course units essential for further studies; these requirements are determined by the AGRFT senate with reference to how different the field is, and consist of 10 to a maximum of 60 credits.

All candidates must pass an aptitude test and demonstrate adequate mental and physical fitness.

  • develop methodological tools with which it is possible to analyse dramatic texts and theatrical productions and evaluate them critically, 
  • autonomously produce theatrical (dramatic) texts, radio (audio) plays, television dramas and scripts, or propose various forms of theatrical performances,
  • dramatise and adapt literary or non-literary works for the needs of the theatre and other media,
  • formulate complex knowledge for an artistic organisation or production and lead theatrical and related institutions (radio, television, film),
  • adapt specific knowledge to work in other artistic or mass media and in cultural production in general.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for enrolment in the next year.
