Into the doctoral programme can enroll anyone who has completed:

  • second-cycle programme (Bologna master's degree),
  • scientific master's degree or specialization after completing the study programme for obtaining a university education (upon enrollment, obligations in the amount of at least 60 ECTS are recognized),
  • specialization after completing the study programme for the acquisition of professional higher education (upon enrollment, additional study obligations are determined in the range of 30-60 ECTS at the discretion of the doctoral study commission),
  • study programme for obtaining an university education (before the introduction of the Bologna reform - 240 ECTS).

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

Progression from the first to the second year:

  • obtained at least 30 ECTS,
  • publicly presented and positively evaluated draft of the doctoral dissertation.

Progression from the second to the third year:

  • obtained at least 60 ECTS,
  • obtained the consent of the faculty to the topic of the doctoral dissertation.

Conditions for admission to the defense of the doctoral dissertation:

  • completed all study obligations prescribed by the programme and
  • publication of at least one article from the content of the dissertation in an appropriate publication recognized by the faculty.

The condition for the completion of studies is the successful completion of all study obligations prescribed by the programme in the amount of 180 ECTS.
