Assesment and completion:
Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In the first cycle of the two-subject academic higher education programme Slovene Language and Literature, in order to progress to the second year students must have completed 24 credits in the Slovene Language and Literature programme (of the total 60 credits prescribed for the first year of the two-subject programme), namely all the first-year course units prescribed by the study programme Slovene Language and Literature from compulsory modules, amounting to 24 credits. In order to progress to the third year, students must have completed all first-year course units in the Slovene Language and Literature programme (30 credits) and 24 credits (of the total 60 credits prescribed for the second year of the two-subject programme), namely all the second-year course units prescribed by the study programme Slovene Language and Literature from compulsory modules, amounting to 24 credits.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

In order to complete a two-subject study programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the programme in both parts of the two-subject study programme for a total of at least 180 credits (90 credits in each part of the two-subject study programme).
