Admission requirements Entry conditions:
  • At least a secondary technical or general education qualification and two years' experience in the field of the technical realisation of media content; or
  • a secondary vocational qualification and three years' experience in the field of the technical realisation of media content and
  • a project assignment in the form of a portfolio in printed and digital form (on CD or DVD) containing: summary, introduction, theoretical part, practical part, conclusion and references.

Learning outcomes:
Candidates will be able to:
  • plan and organise own work in accordance with the media programme design,
  • ensure the quality of broadcast media content,
  • keep abreast of the development of the media profession,
  • make rational use of energy, material and time,
  • protect health and the environment,
  • develop enterprise characteristics, skills and behaviour,
  • use modern information and communication technologies for the preparation, processing and broadcast of media content,
  • communicate with internal and external co-workers and guests,
  • prepare a broadcast of media content using the available technology,
  • design and supplement media content,
  • supervise and implement the broadcasting of media content,
  • demonstrate proficiency in the whole process of processing and transmitting media content.

Evaluator:

Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here.

Assesment and completion:
VALIDATION
During the counselling process, the candidate prepares a portfolio. The relevant committee assesses the portfolio and validates catalogue content in part or full. If the committee is unable to recognise all catalogue content, it assigns tasks to the candidate for verification. 
VERIFICATION METHOD
Technical assignment with oral presentation.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.

Awarding body:

Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant database of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
