Learning outcomes:

The candidate is able to:

  • obtain, analyze and use work documentation and other necessary information for organizing and planning one's own work and planning the work of drivers
  • take over and analyze various information and technical documentation for the transport of goods or passengers and check the suitability of means of transport according to the order or type of transport
  • choose vehicles and create lists of vehicles for transporting goods and assign drivers according to the circumstances of the order, taking into account the structure of the carriers and their quality
  • using electronic tools and applications to support the scheduling of drivers, prepare a short-term daily operational schedule of drivers and vehicles and, in cooperation with the commercial department, plan monthly or multi-month work assignments of drivers
  • control the mental and physical abilities of drivers before sending them to transport and, using appropriate information and communication technologies and technologies for tracking vehicles during transport, supervise and ensure the transport of goods or passengers and communicate with drivers and clients of transport regarding the implementation of transport and the state of the roads
  • edit and complete accounting and transport documentation and keep various prescribed records in passenger traffic or records in the transport of goods
  • record damage, accidents and other irregularities and send vehicles for regular technical inspections and check records of technical inspections and registrations
  • in their work, comply with regulations on road safety and environmental protection, regulations on breaks and rest for mobile workers, as well as norms and regulations for the appropriate technical faultlessness and equipment of vehicles in the field

Evaluator:

Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here.

Assesment and completion:

VALIDATION

During the guidance process the candidate prepares a portfolio,  which is assessed by a committee. If the portfolio submitted by the candidate contains  authentic, valid and adequate proof of the knowledge,  skills and competences defined in the occupational standard, the committee may:

  • validate the contents of the occupational standard in full,  
  • validate the contents of the occupational standard in part and define the  knowledge, skills and competence to be verified,  
  • refuse to validate any of the contents of the occupational standard because  the candidate has not provided proof of any of the knowledge, skills and competences  defined in the occupational standard, in which case it will verify  the occupational standard in full.  

METHOD OF VERIFICATION

Practical verification with an oral presentation.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.

Awarding body:

Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant database of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
