Learning outcomes:
The qualification holders have:
  • in-depth knowledge of social theories and are trained to apply them in the area of studying systems of social protection and social policy,
  • in-depth knowledge of systemic theory, knowledge of the theory of help and mental health in the community,
  • in-depth theoretical knowledge of social work at the community level and knowledge of the role of non-profit and voluntary organisations,
  • in-depth methodological knowledge and are trained to conduct action, evaluation and qualitative research.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).(10).

Students may enrol in a higher year if by the end of the academic year they have met all requirements defined by the study programme for enrolment in a higher year.
