The qualification holder will be able to:

• discuss the main principles of behavioural, cognitive and humanist theories of learning and apply findings in learning, teaching, verification and assessment of knowledge,
• describe the principles and application of research in the professional field (in nursing care, in the promotion of health) and critically assess research literature with regard to an individual aspect of clinical practice,
• study the ethical dimension of human behaviour and consider the application of moral theories in the theoretical and practical spheres,
• study principles and methods in order to improve quality and consider the application of these principles in nursing care, healthcare and social care,

• apply knowledge in the field of the methodology of healthcare research in an interdisciplinary manner,
• select and employ appropriate qualitative and quantitative research methods and interpret the results obtained in a complementary manner,
• critically evaluate the results of qualitative and quantitative research,

• carry out universal and systematic adaptation of the treatment of a patient with regard to relevant physical, mental, social, cultural, psychological, spiritual and social factors,

• recognise the characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of different concepts of healthcare systems,
