The following candidates can be enrolled in the first year of the study programme International Business and Sustainable Development:

  • students who have completed a first-cycle study programme in relevant fields of study (social sciences) and achieved at least 180 ECTS credits
  • students who have completed a study programme for obtaining a professional higher education in relevant professional fields (social sciences)
  • students who have completed equivalent study programmes in other professional fields and completed additional study obligations. Students complete additional study obligations before enrolling in the postgraduate master's degree by taking courses determined by the IBS Senate.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

A student progresse to the second year if the candidate collects 45 ECTS for first year subjects. The IBS Senate may, on a proposal from the Study Affairs Commission, exceptionally allow admission to a student who does not meet this condition and has justifiable reasons for doing so (in accordance with the Statute).

To complete the studies, students must complete study obligations in all subjects and prepare and successfully defend the master's thesis (in accordance with the Rules on the master's thesis adopted by the IBS Senate).
