  • A completed first-cycle study programme in a relevant professional field: social sciences (economics), business and administration (business operations, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, finance, banking, accounting and so forth), law and security (security and defence studies) with at least 180 credits; or
  • a completed study programme to obtain a Professional Bachelor Degree qualification in a relevant professional field (social sciences (economics), business and administration (business operations, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, finance, banking, accounting and so forth), law and security (security and defence studies) valid from 1 January 1994 to 11 June 2004; or
  • a completed first-cycle study programme or programme to obtain a higher education qualification valid from 1 January 1994 to 11 June 2004 in another professional field, but prior to enrolment candidates must pass differential examinations in the amount of 24 credits in subjects set by the competent committee of GEA College, Faculty of Entrepreneurship, depending on the individual application made by the candidate.

Learning outcomes:
The qualification holder will be able to:
  • understand the functioning of institutions of formal and informal social control,
  • demonstrate familiarity with the field of global social, economic and political aspects,
  • study security phenomena, formulate security reports and evaluate analyses and assessments of vulnerability, threats and risks in a national and international corporate setting,
  • introduce integral security systems that cover the protection of people and property, protection of data, information and business secrets, benchmarking, business investigations, safe working conditions, environmental aspects, a system of protection and rescue in processes of managing emergencies and evaluation of geopolitical security factors,
  • demonstrate familiarity with the methodology for managing corporate security processes in terms of marketing, formulating the prices of security services, planning investments in security upgrades, costs, risk insurance, ensuring business excellence and correct understanding of procedures of public and other tenders, and ordering corporate security services.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
