General competences:

Logical and abstract analysis, synthesis and evaluation; in-depth expression of knowledge in both professional fields in written and oral form; competent transfer of intra- and interdisciplinary knowledge into practice; contextualization and independent upgrading of information; transfer of knowledge and skills to other problem areas; ability to solve problems in a team and to organize and lead expert groups; independent search, interpretation and use of new sources of knowledge in professional and scientific fields.

Subject-specific competences:

Fluent, relaxed and correct use of the Czech language orally and in writing; in-depth knowledge of different social and functional types and the ability to make appropriate linguistic differentiations; recognizing the specifics of the language, literature and culture of individual regions of the Czech-speaking area and the ability to compare with such Slovenian phenomena; in-depth knowledge of Czech phraseology; in-depth knowledge of Czech history, material and spiritual culture; knowledge of the development and current state of Czech literary-historical and literary-critical thought; ability to respond critically and competently to professional, scientific and literary texts; knowledge and reflected use of various theoretical approaches, models and methodologies with appropriate scientific instruments; ability to translate demanding literary and professional texts into Slovene and Czech; independent writing of scientific and professional papers, critical analyzes and articles; intercultural mediation and popularization of the Czech language, literature and culture in a diachronic and synchronous perspective.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress from the first to the second year of the second-level double-major study programme, the student  must complete all the obligations prescribed by the syllabus and individual curricula for the first year, in the total amount of 60 ECTS.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

To complete the study programme, the student  must complete all study obligations, as determined by the study programme and curricula of individual subjects, in the total amount of 60 ECTS. Since this is a double-major study programme, the student has to complete the entire study, the student must also complete all obligations in the second discipline, in the total amount of 60 ECTS, ie a total of 120 ECTS.
