Assesment and completion:

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress to the second year, students must have completed first-year course units totalling at least 46 ECTS credits, which must include the following subjects: Basics of Mathematical Methods I, Organisation of Logistics Processes, Basics of Logistics Techniques and Technologies, Basics of Systems Theory.
For students repeating the first year, the same conditions apply for progression to the next year as for students progressing regularly to the next year. For students continuing their studies following an interruption, the same conditions apply for progression to the second year as for students progressing regularly to the second year.
In order to progress to the third year, students must have completed all first-year course units and at least 38 credits, which must include examinations in the following subjects: Basics of Mathematical Methods II, Quantitative Modelling in Logistics.
For students repeating the second year, the same conditions apply for progression to the next year as for students progressing regularly to the next year. For students taking a break from their studies, the same conditions apply for progression to the next year as for students progressing regularly to the next year.
