Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

In order to progress to the second year, students must have completed 48 first-year credits. In order to progress to the third year, students must have completed all first-year course units and 50 second-year credits.

In order to enrol in the second year, in addition to completing 48 credits students must have passed examinations in the following subjects: Ecosystem Biology, Man and the Environment, Chemistry and the Environment, Mathematics, Nature Conservation, Environmental Sociology and Waste Management.
In order to enrol in the third year, as well as completing first-year course units and 50 second-year credits, students must have passed an examination in Pollution and the Protection of Air, Water and Soil.
