Fulfilment of one of the following conditions:

  • the candidate has obtained a secondary vocational qualification (any stream) and has at least three years of professional experience,
  • the candidate has obtained a secondary technical qualification (any stream) and has at least two years of professional experience,

Master craftsman level:

  • run a vehicle painting workshop, represent the workshop externally, cooperate with professional chambers and the state administration, observe competitors and establish entrepreneurial cooperation;
  • assume entrepreneurial and financial/economic functions, develop marketing strategy;
  • operate a business rationally and economically (staff, standards and calculation of services), calculate consumption of materials, labour costs, time needed, etc.;
  • prepare bids or estimates;
  • manage the purchase and sale of products or services;
  • prepare a business plan, analyse the results of work, prepare balance sheets, annual reports, etc.;
  • implement substantive and enterprise planning, plan necessary investment, etc.;
  • organise and regulate technical, commercial and human resources processes, ensure equal workloads for co-workers in the operation;
  • employ and manage co-workers, induct them into the job, plan their development, etc.;
  • establish a system of remuneration of co-workers and ensure a positive working atmosphere;
  • ensure the quality of operations, products and services;
  • implement environmental regulations (protection of the environment), regulations on occupational health and safety and fire safety, and technical regulations and instructions;
  • keep abreast of new developments in the car painting field in Slovenia and abroad and undergo continuous professional training;
  • transfer knowledge, skills, experience and new developments in the profession to co-workers and plan and implement practical training of apprentices and work placement students;
  • take on vehicle painting jobs, advise customers about the scope and price of their order, on the choice of colours and shades, materials and necessary maintenance work and repairs on painted and rust-protected surfaces;
  • carry out demanding and complex vehicle painting work to master craftsman standard;
  • prepare putties, paints, lacquers, special automotive lacquers, etc. according to a formula or with regard to the desired shade;
  • maintain, repair and produce anti-corrosion protection for the surfaces (including hollow parts) of frames, bodywork and conversions of motor vehicles and trailers;
  • carry out additional treatment of a surface/equipment with inscriptions; apply decorative paintwork, multiple colours, etc.;
  • identify causes, prevent and eliminate damage and defects on painted surfaces and assess the damage and defects on painted services by means of methodical examination;
  • install and uninstall bodywork parts, automotive glass, parts of interior fittings and other assemblies of motor vehicles and carry out minor bodywork repairs;
  • handle the machines, devices and tools used in their work and maintain them.

Evaluator:

Members of examination boards for each examination unit separately. Appointed by the minister responsible for education. Appointment may be renewed every 4 years.

Assesment and completion:

Candidates sit a master craftsman examination, which consists of four units:

  • a practical unit,
  • a technical and theoretical part,
  • a business and economics part,
  • an education part.

Kratek opis

Avtoličar dela v obrtni ali mehanični delavnici oziroma v podjetju, ki je specializirano za avtokleparska in avtoličarska dela. Zna barvati oziroma lakirati raznovrstne kovinske in lesene predmete, opravlja karoserijska popravila ter pripravlja in lakira osebna, dostavna in tovorna vozila. 

Kaj delavec običajno dela

Avtoličar opravlja avtoličarska dela v obrtni ali mehanični delavnici oziroma v podjetju, ki je specializirano za avtokleparska in avtoličarska dela. Dela tudi na aluminijskih ter kovinskih platiščih, dodatni opremi, viličarjih, radiatorjih, kovinskih konstrukcijah, drsnih vratih in ograjah. Avtoličar tudi restavrira stara vozila. Najprej oceni stanje ličenih površin, pri čemer prouči tehnično in tehnološko dokumentacijo ter tehnično navodilo za zahtevnejša popravila oziroma izdelavo z uporabo računalnika ter oceni obseg in vrste poškodb, napak in okvar. Pripravi predlog za odpravo poškodb, napak in okvar, za popravilo ali zamenjavo delov, sklopov in sistemov.

Nato pripravi barve za nanos, pri čemer določi odtenek barve. V mešalnici zmeša barve glede na recepturo. Nato preizkusi barvo na kontrolnih lističih ter jo po potrebi doniansira in nato s pripravljeno mešanico pobarva poškodovano površino. Avtoličar tudi vzdržuje, popravlja in izdela notranje in zunanje barvane oziroma lakirane površine. Pri tem zaščiti nebarvane dele vozila, površino mehansko in kemično očisti in razmasti za nadaljnjo obdelavo. Pripravi in nanaša temeljne nanose ter podlage na zunanje in notranje površine za končno ličenje. Reparaturno lakira oziroma prelakira karoserijske dele. Obdela zunanje in notranje površine z barvnimi nanosi. Vzdržuje in polira površine na vozilih in nadgradnjah, lepi okrasne napise in dekoracije. Izdela poslikavo vozil ali zaščiti obdelane površine pred poškodbami s premazi. 

Vzdržuje, popravi in nanaša protikorozijske zaščite oziroma konzervacije votlih delov podvozja. Poleg tega zamenja in popravlja karoserijske dele. Popravi manjše poškodbe na karoserijskih delih oziroma sestavlja ali demontira dele in sklope vozila oziroma druge obdelovalne površine. Pri svojem delu izpolnjuje delovno dokumentacijo oziroma dnevnik, pri čemer naredi poročila o opravljenem delu. Vodi evidence popravil ter ureja tehnično in tehnološko dokumentacijo. Naroča in skladišči rezervne dele in opremo ter izdela končni obračun opravljenega dela in porabljenega materiala. Avtoličar mora tudi nadzorovati, nastavljati ter vzdrževati naprave, stroje in pripomočke, ki jih uporablja pri delu.

Strankam svetuje v zvezi s popravili in vzdrževalnimi deli na vozilu. Ko stranko sprejme, jo seznani s stanjem zaščitenih in ličenih površin, potrebnimi vzdrževalnimi deli, popravili in s časom potrebnim za izvedbo del. Nato ji svetuje pri odločitvah o popravilih in vzdrževalnih delih na zaščitenih in ličenih površinah.
