Learning outcomes:

The qualification holders demonstrate thorough knowledge of the common theoretical and methodological bases of adult education sciences, recognise basic adult education phenomena and adult education processes with respect to specific stages of life and social status. Students demonstrate advanced knowledge in specific applicative problem areas in various target groups (e.g. the unemployed, parents, women, disabled persons, the elderly, employees, functionally illiterate persons, innovators, scientists, etc.). Students are capable of independent professional work and empirical research of adult education and managing innovative and development projects in adult education practice.

Assesment and completion:

Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10). 

Progress:

Students must pass at least two examinations from common subjects to progress to the second year of specialised studies.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:
Students must successfully meet all requirements and defend a positively assessed specialist thesis to complete their studies. Graduates of this programme must complete the programme by the 30.9.2016.
