The qualification holder will be able to:
General competences:

Subject-specific competences:

  • provide ICT support to end users and present ICT solutions to customers,
  • analyze information needs in processes,
  • introduce software solutions and train end users for the effective use of software solutions,
  • model data for relational models,
  • work with database management systems,
  • manage information technology,
  • select, develop and use software solutions
  • participate in the planning and installation of software solutions,
  • use software solutions for data analysis,
  • program and use development tools,
  • communicate with business users and technical experts in defining user requirements,
  • identify business problems and critically compare different scenarios of information technology use,
  • apply standards in the field of information systems,
  • introduce procedures to ensure the security of information systems

Assesment and completion:

The methods and forms of checking and assessing knowledge are defined in the individual curriculum and consistently follow the verification of the achieved learning outcomes and competencies of each learning unit.

Progress:

Conditions for progression to the 2nd year:  students progress to the 2nd year if he / she has achieved at least 40 ECTS by completing the obligations of the 1st year.

Conditions for progression  to the 3rd year: students progress to the 3rd year if he / she has completed all the obligations of the 1st year (collected 60 ECTS) and has collected at least 45 ECTS in the 2nd year.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Students complete the study upon fulfillment of all anticipated obligations in the programme and successfully defends the diploma thesis and collects a total of at least 180 ECTS.
