General competences:

  • develop an information support methodology,
  • introduce comprehensive software solutions,
  • develop a methodology for implementing software solutions,
  • design and implement relational, object and NoSQL databases,
  • analyze, model and optimize business processes,
  • plan and develop information systems,
  • participate in the process of developing architectures, information systems, mass data processing and the Internet of Things,
  • develop and analyze data with modern tools and develop and use appropriate algorithms for machine learning and artificial intelligence to solve typical problems in companies, public and state administration,
  • program in different programming languages,
  • develop functional and technical specifications in the analysis of the needs of the business environment,
  • manage business processes in the organization from the organizational and information point of view,
  • analyze business problems and develop methods for solving them,
  • introduce existing and participate in the development of new standards in the field of information systems,

Assesment and completion:

The methods and forms of checking and assessing knowledge are defined in the individual curriculum and consistently follow the verification of the achieved learning outcomes and competencies of each learning unit.

Progress:

Conditions for progression to the 2nd year:

Students progress to the 2nd year if he / she has obtained at least 40 ECTS by completing the obligations of the 1st year.

Conditions for progression to the 3rd year:

Students progress to the 3rd year if he / she has completed all the obligations of the 1st year (collected 60 ECTS) and has collected at least 45 ECTS in the 2nd year.

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Students complete the study upon fulfillment of all anticipated obligations in the program, including the successful defense of the diploma thesis, and collect a total of at least 180 ECTS.
