Learning outcomes:

The qualification holder will be able to:

  • analyse and synthesise knowledge acquired and envisage solutions and the consequences of phenomena in management, economics and law for an organisation and society in general,
  • demonstrate familiarity with research methods, procedures and tools in the field of the social sciences and use them to solve problems in the social science field,
  • apply knowledge in practice with an emphasis on making decisions with regard to the working and living environment,
  • develop communication and rhetorical abilities and skills,
  • present data and information,
  • communicate in the international environment (i.e. in at least one foreign language), taking into account into cultural differences and using various modern technologies,
  • work independently and in a team,
  • show initiative, collegiality towards colleagues and loyalty towards employers, and the ability to tolerate criticism and comments and act on them,
  • critically assess information and sources of information, defend their own positions in a well-argued manner and take into account the positions of others,

Assesment and completion:

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10). 

Progress:

Full-time students may progress to the second year if they have completed 42 credits from the current year, and to the third year if they have completed 42 credits and all course units from the previous year.
Part-time students may progress to the second year if they have completed 36 credits from the current year, and to the third year if they have completed 75 credits and all course units from the first and second years.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

In order to complete the programme, students must complete the 180 credits envisaged by the study programme. The programme is completed with the defence of a concluding project assignment.
