Enrolment in the programme is also open to candidates who have completed a second-cycle programme in a field related to mathematics (computer science or physics) and other candidates who have completed a second-cycle programme and passed a differential examination in analysis and algebra. |

Qualification holders are qualified to:

- carry out in-depth analysis of the development of a specialised field,

Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may progress to the next year if they have completed 40 credits from the current year and completed all course units from the previous year.
Students must complete all requirements defined by the study programme in order to complete their studies.
