The qualification holders will be able to:
- Select and arrange work experiences and transform them into teaching material in a way that includes the objectives, content, forms of work and personality functioning in a specific assignment,
- empathically understand supervisors’ experiences, taking into account the psychosocial context of their professional work,
- analyse own stake in the supervision process, recognise own emotional content, motives, weaknesses and strengths, recognise parallelisms, defence and transfer mechanisms and their consideration in the process,
- recognise different expectations and styles of learning of the supervised person, taking them into account in supervision work,
- methodically lead supervision with workers from various education institutions, and use supervision in different areas of education,
- carry out individual and group supervision, and the supervision of teams, managerial supervision and supervision among colleagues (intervision),
- design the kind of individual and group process that leads to a gradual increase in reflection and generalisation of the experiences of all participants,
- perform the educational, support and leadership functions of supervision,
- deal with resistance, transference and counter-transference during supervision,
- understand the structure of organisations, the dynamic and culture of various work environments and the placement of supervision in the wider organisational framework,
- organise the supervision process in various work areas, introduce it to new areas and participate in the development of new theoretical models.
Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may enrol in a higher year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for enrolment in a higher year.
Third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF, level 10)
Candidates must defend their specialist thesis to complete their studies. Graduates of this programme must complete the programme by the 30.9.2016.
