Learning outcomes:

The qualification holders are able to undertake autonomous research and teaching work at research institutes, higher education institutions and all other institutions where staff with postgraduate qualifications in philosophy and general methodology are needed. Graduates will have deepened and broadened their methodological knowledge and familiarised themselves in greater depth with the open questions of philosophical disciplines and the methods of philosophical research. They will also be capable of addressing concrete scholarly problems.

Assesment and completion:
 Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

In order to progress from the first year to the second year, candidates must have completed at least 45 credits from the individual study programme.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

In order to complete the programme, students must successfully complete all course units prescribed by the individual study programme and successfully defend a master's thesis in public. Graduates of this programme must complete the programme by the 30.9.2016.
