Learning outcomes:

Qualification holders will have developed artistic sensitivity and expressiveness and compositional and iconographic imaginativeness. They will have deepened their creative identity, personal poetics and formal excellence and mastered elements of the autonomous image field and constructive approaches through which it is possible to establish the modernist existence of the painting. Instead of the hierarchical identification with one single point, graduates will place in the foreground the pulsing of colour components and their fluctuating mutual relations, which opens up new relations between the actual state of the painting and the psychological effect, and at the same time makes the boundaries of easel painting increasingly permeable, since through the edges and depth of other media, graduates include spatial designs, video effects and network phenomena in their work.

 

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Candidates may enrol in the second year when they have completed course units totalling at least 45 credits.

Conditions for obtaining a public document:

Students complete their studies when they have completed all course units and written and successfully defended a master's thesis. Graduates of this programme must complete the programme by the 30.9.2016.
