Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

Students may carry over up to 5 first-year credits to the second year; up to 6 credits may be carried over to the third year, provided all first-year course units have been completed; 7 credits may be carried over to the fourth year provided all second-year course units have been completed; 8 credits may be carried over to the fifth year provided all fourth-year course units have been completed.

In order to complete the study programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the programme. This means completing all 300 credits, passing the bachelor's examination and writing and successfully defending a master's thesis.
