Learning outcomes:

The qualification holder will be able to:
- plan, implement, coordinate and organise research and use various research methods and techniques,
- demonstrate critical and reflective understanding of social contexts that are inseparably linked to information and communication technologies, and understanding of associated norms, institutions and dynamics of development,
- plan, evaluate and look to the future,
- anticipate and predict the development of events,
- find solutions to basic problems,
- express themselves in writing, make a public presentation and argue a point of view,
- work and cooperate with others,
- take into account the opinions of others and fulfil agreed roles within a group,
- analyse and coordinate work tasks and select appropriate methods and modes of work,
- work flexibly in various social and institutional environments and different cultural contexts, including international cooperation, in an interdisciplinary setting,
- carry out complex IT-based and mathematical/statistical procedures in the analysis, planning and evaluation of information systems in various social contexts,
- demonstrate knowledge of foreign languages.

Assesment and completion:

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10). 

Progress:

Students may enrol in the next year when they have completed all course units in the current year for a total of 60 credits.
