  • proof of involvement in at least 10 different sets as scenic elements and equipment operator (the candidate will submit as proof at least three set designs of medium complexity in which he or she has been involved).

Candidates will be able to:
  • plan, prepare and check own work within the executive plan for scenery, 
  • use modern information and communication technologies, 
  • work in such a way so as not to put self, co-workers, the audience and other persons at risk,
  • keep abreast of developments in the field of set design techniques, 
  • communicate with co-workers and other professional profiles involved in a production or guest performances, 
  • ensure the quality and efficiency of own work in the working environment in accordance with regulations and standards, 
  • develop enterprise characteristics, skills and behaviour, 
  • make rational use of energy, material and time, 
  • take responsibility for the maintenance of premises and equipment notify superiors of major faults and damage, 
  • manage scenery and equipment, including computer-controlled elements, 
  • take responsibility for the storage of scenery and equipment, 
  • set up scenery in altered spatial conditions.

Verification and assessment are carried out by committees for the verification and validation of national vocational qualifications, appointed by the National Examination Centre (NEC). Committee members must be licensed by the National Examination Centre. Licences may be found here [2].

VALIDATION.
During the counselling process, the candidate prepares a portfolio. The relevant committee assesses the portfolio and validates catalogue content in part or full. If the committee is unable to recognise all catalogue content, it assigns tasks to the candidate for verification. 
VERIFICATION METHOD.
Practical skills are verified in the selected assignment via the oral presentation of specialised theoretical knowledge about the service.

Candidates demonstrate attainment of the knowledge, skills and competences defined in the catalogue of standards of vocational knowledge and skills.

Providers of procedures for identifying and validating national vocational qualifications are entered in a register of providers maintained in the relevant database of the National Reference Point for Occupational Qualifications. Providers include: vocational schools, companies, inter-company training centres, adult education centres, chambers of commerce, etc.
