Graduates have an advanced knowledge of agronomy and are able to pursue independent scientific, developmental and pedagogical work, as well as the highest-level expert work. In addition to a familiarity with fields covering biology and agro-technology, they have also mastered fundamental knowledge in other fields (pedology, meteorology) and basic knowledge in marketing, economics and organisation of agricultural production processes, with which they have mastered modern methods of managing agricultural holdings. They have become familiarised with the fundamental legal regulations governing the use of natural resources, with account taken of the connection between regulations on natural resources, spatial and environmental law and sectoral legal disciplines (for instance agricultural, forestry, water and mining law). They are familiar with the interaction between events in the environment and the plants we cultivate, and are able to foresee the consequences that can arise through certain agricultural measures and impact the wider environment and people.
