  • Diploma in a first-cycle study programme in the following fields: humanities, social sciences, business and administrative sciences, law, life sciences, physical sciences, technical sciences, production technology, transport services, healthcare, personal services, environmental protection and farming, forestry and fisheries; or
  • diploma in an undergraduate study programme (adopted before 11 June 2004) in the following fields: humanities, social sciences, business and administrative sciences, law, life sciences, physical sciences, technical sciences, production technology, transport services, healthcare, personal services, environmental protection and farming, forestry and fisheries; or
  • diploma in a first-cycle study programme in another professional field and prior to enrolment course units completed in the amount of 12 to 18 credits.

The qualification holder will be able to:

  • master communication skills,
  • demonstrate a capacity for ethical reflection and a commitment to professional ethics,
  • critically use obtained interdisciplinary theories and analysis of policies in practice.

  • demonstrate familiarity with and critical understanding of the history and importance of sustainable development,
  • resolve specific issues in the area of sustainable development through the application of scientific methods and procedures,
  • understand the general construction and substance of social sciences, humanities and natural sciences and the links between them,
  • perform ethical and socially responsible designing, planning and evaluation of strategic development possibilities of organisations,
  • study, generate, develop and introduce modern managerial and technological solutions through the application of scientific methods and procedures,
  • successfully and effectively plan, organise, manage and supervise the operation of an organisation or field (process, subsystem) for which they are responsible.

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

 

Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
