The qualification holder will be able to:
(general competences)
- solve problems and make critical assessments,
- apply systemic concepts in understanding and defining problems,
- apply traditional and new concepts and knowledge,
- understand that a system is composed of people, processes and appropriately used information,
- acquire solid ethical principles and skills for effective interpersonal communication,
- work in a team,
(subject-specific competences)
- understand and model HR and educational processes,
- define and implement procedural solutions,
- demonstrate familiarity with the legal basis of processes,
- lead projects and integrate systems,
- develop processes for finding and selecting people, measuring and evaluating their intellectual potential and quality of knowledge,
- determine competences required by the work and assess the actual competences of employees,
- use IT expert tools for selecting people to occupy key organisational positions,
- conduct research into employee satisfaction, the organisational atmosphere, parameters of the organisational culture, work motivation, creativity, relations and communication,
- master methods of identifying needs for new knowledge and professional support for processes of managing knowledge,
- master modern approaches in adult education and modern methods of study,
- formulate human resources strategy and development policy,
- manage human resources systems and manage and lead educational organisations.
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
Third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF level 10)
Students must meet all requirements defined by the study programme to complete their studies.
