The qualification holder will be able to:
- demonstrate understanding of the functioning of human cells, tissues, organs and organ systems in interaction with the living environment,
- seek out and interpret new facts and integrate them into the context of the programme,
- identify and study the consequences of human interaction with the environment and take preventive action to achieve sustainable development,
- develop strategies and programmes for the promotion of exercise/sport as a factor of quality of life,
- carry out autonomous and group professional work and research, at the national and international levels, in the field of kinesiology and related disciplines,
- critically and self-critically assess and produce independent texts (articles, papers, assessments, discussions etc.),
- critically verify information and anticipate solutions and consequences,
- apply theoretical and practical research methods, various procedures and technologies,
- show a commitment to ethics and a sense of professionalism,
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may progress to the next year if they have completed at least 48 credits from the current year and all course units from the previous year.
Third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF level 10)
In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme and subject syllabuses, and write and successfully defend a master's thesis. In this way students accumulate 120 credits.
