The qualification holder will be able to:
- demonstrate mastery of research methods, procedures and processes in the field of the social sciences and formulate original ideas, concepts and solutions to problems,
- apply knowledge flexibly in practice and combine knowledge from different disciplines,
- autonomously use information and communication technology, manage projects aimed at updating or developing new forms of ICT as business support, use methodological tools and implement, coordinate and organise research,
- develop communication skills and an ethical attitude when working with others in the international environment,
- ensure the quality of professional work through autonomy, criticism/self-criticism, reflection/self-reflection and evaluation/self-evaluation in professional work.
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
In order to progress from the first to the second year, students must complete at least 45 credits from the first year.
Third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF level 10)
In order to complete the programme, students must successfully complete all course units prescribed by the programme, prepare and successfully defend a master's thesis, and complete all 120 credits envisaged by the programme.
