The qualification holder is be able to:
(general competences)
  • lead the most complex research projects,
  • implement innovative knowledge; research that will contribute to the progress of the scientific excellence of the discipline at the regional, national and European levels and contribute to creating a knowledge society and transferring knowledge to the business sector,
  • develop generic and transfer skills (teamwork and interinstitutional liaison, leadership functions, time and career management and management of material and human resources),
  • demonstrate knowledge of the principles of intellectual property and reflect on them from the ethical point of view,
  • demonstrate autonomy in own research and professional work and effectiveness in team research,

(subject-specific competences)

  • develop individual concepts and methodologies in the field of cultural resources management and archives,
  • present the results of scholarly work in the form of publications in international scientific periodicals and international projects,
  • implement research work and results in society and the business sector applying the modern principles of rational and sustainable exploitation of cultural resources for development purposes,
  • autonomously assess and evaluate results and contribute to the development of the discipline in individual fields of management of cultural sources and archives,
  • implement results in order to achieve a knowledge society.

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Students may enrol in the second year if they have completed all first-year course units, or at least 45 credits (compulsory subjects and one elective subject), where missing first-year credits must be completed before the end of the second year. Students who have completed all course units from the first and second years may enrol in the third year.

In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme.
