The qualification holder is be able to:
-
demonstrate in-depth understanding of theoretical and methodological concepts,
-
independently develop new knowledge,
-
address the most complex problems by testing and improving known solutions and discovering new solutions,
-
manage the most complex work systems and research projects in a broad professional or scientific field,
-
develop critical reflection on sociocultural events and processes,
-
address specific tasks relating to various social problems,
-
carry out the basic and applied research necessary for the transfer of anthropological knowledge into the life of societies,
-
demonstrate specialised and in-depth knowledge of selected anthropological fields and issues.
Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may enrol in the second year if they have completed all first-year course units. In exceptional circumstances students may conditionally enrol in the second year if they have completed at least 36 first-year credits, in which case the missing first-year credits must be completed before the end of the second year.
Students who have completed all course units from the first and second years may enrol in the third year. In exceptional circumstances students may enrol in the third year if they have completed at least 100 credits.
In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme.
