The qualification holder is able to:

  • mastering research methods, procedures and processes in the field of social sciences and developing critical and self-critical judgment in the field of social sciences,

  • knowledge and understanding of the justification and history of the sciences in the field of law,

  • coherent mastery of basic knowledge acquired mainly in compulsory subjects of the 1st and 2nd year and integration of knowledge from various fields and its application in the business environment,
  • searching for new information in the field of law in literature and practice and placing it in an appropriate professional framework,
  • understanding the general structure and content of social sciences and the connection between its subdisciplinary, especially legally related sciences,
  • understanding and application of critical analysis and development of theories and their use in solving concrete professional problems,
  • development of skills and abilities in the application of knowledge in a particular professional field, which will be developed in the framework of seminars and seminars in individual subjects,
  • use of information and communication technology and information systems.

Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

From the first to the second year, a student who has completed all certain obligations by the end of the academic year can enroll with a study programme for progression to a higher year, or has successfully achieved at least 42 credit points (hereinafter: KT). in the exams in the subjects of the year in which he/she is enrolled.  From the second  to the third year, a student who has completed all certain obligations by the end of the academic year can progress to a higher year or has successfully achieved at least 42 ECTS in successfully passed exams in the subjects of the year in which he is enrolled provided that he/she has fulfilled all the obligations of the first year.

 

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)

To complete the study, the student must complete all the obligations prescribed by the study programme.
