The qualification holder will be able to:
  • apply methodological knowledge to the resolution of practical problems,
  • master operational organisation and coordinate HR and educational activities in organisations,
  • implement operational work in the field of seeking and selecting personnel, recruiting and releasing workers, enhance the job structure, analyse complexity, evaluate and reward work,
  • plan and organise processes of career development, education and promotion of personnel,
  • motivate people for creative work,
  • regulate labour relations and the social standard of workers,
  • cooperate in researching the need for new knowledge,
  • determine employee satisfaction,
  • assess the working atmosphere, work motivation and the quality of relations between employees,
  • possess knowledge in the area of HR management, HR information systems, systems analysis, organisation of production systems, implementation of project work, quality, accounting, systems to support decision-making, the process of social work, familiarity with business functions in an organisation and so forth.

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)
