The qualification holder will be able to:
- understand, describe, analyse, critically evaluate and help shape the social context in which they operate,
- identify contemporary social problems at the level of administrative and business activities,
- analyse opportunities for activity in development fields,
- seek a suitable route, with the help of an expert or as part of a team, to addressing the problems of administrative and business communication in Slovene and one or two foreign languages,
- use modern technologies,
- use some written business genres and spoken forms of communication,
- produce oral (and written) texts at a basic level of written communication in English and another language,
- demonstrate understanding of two elective languages and communicate in them at the A1 or A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference,
- understand, describe, analyse and critically evaluate the cultural context in which they operate,
- identify and observe modern cultural guidelines and cultural policies.
Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)
In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme.
