The qualification holder masters:

  • high-technology expertise for the planning, development and maintenance of information solutions and the management of communication technologies,
  • organisational and business expertise and the effective use of technological solutions in practice, and
  • personal skills of communication, management and team work.

A student is qualified to:

  • understand the basic processes of the development of information systems, project management, and mastery of information and enterprise information systems,
  • effectively use the most state-of-the-art information and communication technologies, and tools for developing information solutions,
  • work with others, communicate on a personal and business level, and manage projects, and
  • effectively apply knowledge to complete specific business tasks and achieve project objectives in a real environment.

Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Students progress to the second year if they have accumulated at least 44 ECTS credits by completing first-year examinations. Students progress to the third year if they have completed all first-year examinations and accumulated at least 45 additional ECTS credits by completing second-year examinations.

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)

Students must meet all requirements defined by the study programme, and thus accumulate 180 ECTS credits, to complete their studies.
