The qualification holder will be able to:
  • analyse, synthesise and anticipate solutions and the consequences of events in the areas of international operations and company leadership, management, economics and law,
  • master research methods, procedures and processes in the field of social sciences and develop critical and self-critical assessment in the field of social sciences,
  • apply knowledge from the field of organisation management in the international and domestic environment, economics and law in practice,
  • autonomously work in a professional manner and make business decisions,
  • develop communication skills, particularly in the international environment, and develop them in the context of inclusion of three foreign business languages in the study programme,
  • demonstrate ethical reflection and a commitment to professional ethics in the business environment,
  • demonstrate cooperative relations with colleagues and a loyalty to employees and cooperation, work in a group (and in an international environment) and patiently receive and incorporate creative criticism and comments,
  • recognise and understand intercultural differences and their influence on the operation of organisations in the international environment.

Students' knowledge is assessed by means of practical exercises and seminar papers, and also via products, projects, performances, services, etc. and by examinations. Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Students may progress to the next year if they complete 45 credits for the current year and meet all requirements for the previous year.

Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)

Students complete their studies when they complete all 180 credits envisaged in the study programme.
