A candidate who has successfully passed the vocational matura under a programme leading to a secondary technical qualification must also pass an examination in the elective matura subject of history or geography. Candidates who have already passed this subject as part of the vocational matura must pass an examination in any other matura subject. |

- demonstrate in-depth insight into the state and development of the contemporary world and its parts,
- undertake ethical reflection,
- undertake interdisciplinary work,
- produce an autonomous written text (essay, newspaper article, specialist or general-interest article, report, paper, etc.) and prepare technical argumentation,
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the development of heritage protection and good knowledge of natural and cultural heritage in Slovenia, Europe and elsewhere around the world,
- demonstrate knowledge of the key turning points in the history of the world, of Europe and of Slovenia (or Slovene ethnic territory), with a particular emphasis on the Mediterranean,
- use scientific and other methods to resolve concrete problems in the field of the study, protection and popularisation of cultural heritage,
- autonomously use material and historical sources for professional work and information and communication technologies and systems in the fields of archaeology, ethnology, history of art, history and heritage protection.
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have completed all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
Second-cycle master's study programmes (SQF level 8)
In order to complete the programme, students must complete all course units prescribed by the study programme.
