Examination performance is graded as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: of results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5-1 (inadequate). In order to pass the examination, the candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).
Students may progress to the next year if by the end of the academic year they have met all requirements defined by the study programme for progression to the next year.
Access to further education: third-cycle doctoral study programmes (SQF, level 10)
Master's students must submit a master's thesis at the end of their studies.
This thesis must demonstrate that the candidate has mastered the field to which the thesis relates and methods of scholarly research. A master's thesis may also be the result of the work of several candidates or a research group; if so, the contributions of individual candidates must be clear.
