  • demonstrate knowledge of and understand the tourism profession and tourism destination management,
  • solve specific problems related to destination management using the appropriate methods and approaches,
  • plan, organise and monitor relationships and processes in the social and economic environment at the local level, with an emphasis on sustainable development,
  • recognise and consider the characteristics of international market segments and the macro-environmental characteristics of tourist emitting markets.

Assesment and completion:
Examination performance is scored as follows: 10 (excellent); 9 (very good: above-average knowledge but with some mistakes); 8 (very good: solid results); 7 (good); 6 (adequate: knowledge satisfies minimum criteria); 5–1 (inadequate). In order to pass an examination, a candidate must achieve a grade between adequate (6) and excellent (10).

Progress:

Full-time students may progress to a higher year if they accumulate 45 credits (40 credits for part-time students) by the end of the current year, and meet all requirements for the previous year.
